Submit a Student Poster Abstract
Eligibility
-
Students of any level (e.g., high school, undergraduate, graduate, medical, etc.) may submit abstracts. Students must be currently enrolled to submit.
-
Projects must use data from the All of Us Data Browser or Researcher Workbench.
-
These should be student-led projects, not a project that a student contributed to for a principal investigator.
-
Submissions can be on any research topic. Both in-progress and previously published research projects are eligible for submission. If the work has been published, please include a full citation and a link in the application.
-
Students may submit more than one abstract if they are for different research projects.
-
Students should consult with co-investigators to avoid duplicate submissions. Names and affiliations for non-submitting co-investigators should be included in the proposal.
-
All submissions must comply with the Data User Code of Conduct and All of Us data use policies. Review the policy training video and checklist below before finalizing your submission.
Submission Overview
Students of all levels are invited to submit poster abstracts for projects using All of Us data. Students whose abstracts are selected for presentation will be asked to create a digital poster to display during the convention. In addition, a limited number of students with exceptional posters will have the opportunity to present their research during a convention session.
Abstracts are due by February 16, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET
Please complete all sections of the application:
- Contact information
- Tell us about your research project
- Abstract (250-500 words)
- Community benefit (200 words maximum)
Your abstract should describe your research project and must include project background (including why you are using the All of Us dataset), research objectives, methods/approaches, results or anticipated findings, and conclusion and implications/research impact.
In the community benefit section, please describe how your research will benefit All of Us participants and the research community, or contribute to the advancement of precision medicine and science.
You must include at least one keyword to describe your research project.
Only plain text is permitted. Formatted text and images (including bolding, italics, bullets, tables, and images) are not accepted in the submission form.
The submission portal does not allow users to save work. Be prepared to complete all sections and submit in one sitting.
Accepted student posters will be considered for the People’s Choice Awards during the convention.
